Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is recruiting for a Water Treatment Operator, Senior in the Water Line of Business. This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing chemical and mechanical systems to ensure the safe and continuous delivery of treated water from the Cedar River to the Lake Youngs Reservoir and Cedar Water Treatment Plant. This position will also operate the Landsburg Diversion Dam to ensure compliance with regulate instream flows in the Cedar River at Landsburg. The position is assigned to SPUs Landsburg Operation Center on the Cedar River in Ravensdale WA, a state-of-the-art facility constructed in 2016 in a historic and wooded setting.
