Water Resources Engineer - Hydrologic and Hydraulic - The Dewberry Companies : Job Details

Responsibilities Perform site visits to confirm existing conditions and document past flood history. Conduct and review hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, using a variety of techniques and models (e.g., HEC-HMS, regression equations, gage analyses, HEC-RAS, FLO 2 D). Prepare written reports, documenting the hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the existing conditions, proposed bridge or culvert replacement and any temporary construction conditions. Perform quality reviews of H&H studies performed by others. Prepare any necessary Chapter 105 or 404 permit applications for the project. Required Skills & Required Experience B. S. Degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in water resources . to 10 years of water resources-related experience. Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with the client. Proficiency in basic MS Office software. E. I.
