Water Quality Lab Director - Delaware State University : Job Details

Reporting to the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Agriculture, Science, and Technology (CAST) at Delaware State University (DSU), the CAST Water Quality Lab Director/ Research Associate develops a harmonized, updated, and relevant training curriculum utilizing all training delivery methods and incorporating new technologies where applicable. This position works towards the design and implementation of research projects or programs to advance the development and application of methods to evaluate antimicrobial resistance in bacteria and their gene occurrence in fresh and marine surface waters. In collaboration with a principal investigator or faculty sponsor, this position contributes to the advancement of innovation/tech transfer activity as well as developing persistent information and water quality forecasting tools using modeling. Another primary function of this position is to oversee daily lab operations.
