Wendel is currently seeking a Water Wastewater Engineer to join our growing Water Engineering team. This position offers flexibility in the candidates location and we offer a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Process planning, design, and construction administration of medium to large infrastructure projects.
  • Serve as a technical lead and project manager for medium to large scale design and construction projects including distribution system and collection system improvements as well as water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation work.
  • Hydraulic modeling of water treatment and storage systems.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor s of Science Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related fields is required, a Masters Degree is preferred.
  • PE is preferred, but we will consider experience and background.
  • The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in the water discipline, however individuals seeking to leverage a broad portfolio of experience who are interested in becoming focused within the Water market will also be considered.
  • Experience with hydraulics, municipal water and wastewater treatment plant design, and energy usage/analysis.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Willing to work outdoors in various weather at times.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver s license and be available to travel to job sites and client meetings. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Salary Range: $95,000 $120,000.

Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
