Monitors the operation of the wastewater treatment plants to ensure proper functioning and compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) rules and regulations.

Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: High school diploma or equivalent; AND one (1) years of wastewater treatment experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Physical Demands and Working Environment: Majority of work is performed outdoors and throughout wastewater treatment areas. This position requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, and intense noises.
