Wastewater Operator - Entry Level - Veolia North America, LLC : Job Details

Learn to operate and control electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow of water into treatment facilities. Learn to collect and test water samples to determine concentration levels and impurities. Learn to perform all scheduled maintenance, service, and new installations of water treatment equipment. Learn to be responsible for accurate record keeping of client data such as residual content of chemicals, water turbidity, and water pressure. Comply with all client safety parameters. Provide regular communication with fellow operators and management of any non-routine operating parameters that occur. May be responsible for assisting with compiling data for the Environmental Protection Agency. Coordinate with other operators throughout the customers plant in order to maintain the plants water treatment equipment.
