The MS-WWTO position involves a wide range of responsibilities, which may include, but are not limited to, the operation of a wastewater analysis laboratory; maintenance and operation of wastewater collection systems; pre-treatment and full treatment wastewater systems; and other types of water or wastewater treatment facilities. Duties may encompass sample collection in compliance with EPA, state, and health department regulations; conducting various chemical analyses both in the lab and on-site; adjusting systems based on test results; ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance through informed decision-making; and performing algebra-based calculations using a calculator. Additional responsibilities include generating computerized reports, compiling and submitting monthly reports as required by permits, regulatory bodies, or corporate management.
