Waste Water Treatment Tech (Front Nights) - Telephonics Corporation : Job Details

Order, receive, handle and store chemicals for cleaning, circuit imaging, and plating printed circuit boards. Perform chemical additions to plating and imaging process tanks. Keep accurate records of daily activities. Strictly follow safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsible for maintaining the standards of quality effluent as prescribed by the City of San Diego Metropolitan Industrial Waste Program (MIWP). Operate the facility wastewater pretreatment system. Responsible for chemical inventory for the facility. Control p. H and heavy metal content as required by the MIWP permit. Properly label and store waste as required by OSHA and EPA. Once initial training and certification is completed, will transfer hazardous waste to disposal facilities in accordance with DOT requirements. Perform routine maintenance tasks as required to assure proper working conditions of the waste treatment system and the manufacturing process tanks.
