Waste Water Treatment Operator - Weekend Nights - Telephonics Corporation : Job Details

This position is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all waste treatment systems with minimal supervision. while continuously maintaining effluent wastewaters within environmental regulatory limits. Prepare hazardous waste for treatment or shipment to a designated facility. Provides technical support and regulatory information of environmental operations to those within organization. Maintain incoming water treatment systems to provide process water to all wet processes within manufacturing departments. Duties and Responsibilities: Operates in accordance with all local, State and Federal regulations. Performs routine and as needed analysis of solutions from the waste treatment systems. Manages hazardous waste. Generates, accumulates, manifests, ships, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.
