Waste Water Treatment Operator - Clean Harbors : Job Details

Collect water and wastewater samples in accordance with established procedures. Inspect and maintain sewage inlets and all connected piping systems. Perform manual calculations of flow rates, pump times, and chemical usage. Operate, monitor, and inspect plant process equipment, including pumps, screens, chemical feed systems, and water storage tanks. Ensure continuous monitoring of treatment processes to maintain performance within regulatory and operational specifications. Conduct routine laboratory tests to support treatment process optimization. Accurately record operational data in logbooks and digital spreadsheets. Assist in interpreting performance data and support process control adjustments as directed by supervisors. Evaluate lab and process data against performance standards and initiate corrective actions as needed. Maintain accurate records for reporting to internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.
