Waste Water Treatment Operator - Alutiiq LLC : Job Details

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Water Treatment Operator supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The position performs duties related to the operation, maintenance and control of industrial waste water treatment facilities. This position monitors equipment, gauges, and charts, and records data related to water quality to ensure water is properly treated before releasing it into the environment. The Water Treatment Operator also maintains, monitors, and treats potable water systems, and keeps supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered, and identifies and reports safety, environmental, and other work requirements for resolution. Operates and controls electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow of raw water into treating plant. Performs chemical treatment and analysis of drinking water systems using chlorine and fluoride (IAW Clean Water Act, and ODEQ regulations).
