Waste Assessor - Waste Management : Job Details

This entry level, hourly non-exempt Area position conducts regular site surveys and waste audits to ensure trash, organics, manure and recycling service levels comply with franchise contract requirements. This role will ensure type, size and location of bins as well as collection frequency meets franchise contract and WM requirements. This role may speak directly with customers to explain waste diversion, waste management and recycling services as well as the fee rate structure of the franchise contract, and may escalate issues raised during site visits. With supervision this position may add, change and arrange new services to meet customer requirements, conduct on-site customer training programs, and perform other duties needed to meet franchise contract requirements. The work does not require discretion or independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.
