Warranty Specialist Onshore Wind - GE Vernova : Job Details

We are looking for a highly motivated Warranty Specialist to join the GE Vernova Onshore Wind Warranty team, supporting the North America (NAM) region.

In this role, you will manage warranty claims with a focus on reducing cycle time, ensuring accurate cost allocation, and driving process improvements. You will act as a key interface between our customers and internal teams, serving as the voice of the customer while championing operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and track warranty claims from initiation through resolution, ensuring timely processing and closure.
• Drive reduction in warranty claim cycle time by identifying and eliminating process inefficiencies.
• Ensure accurate and consistent cost allocation for all claims in accordance with contract terms and internal policies.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance claim processing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Act as the primary internal advocate for customer concerns related to warranty claims, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, services, finance, and field teams to resolve technical and commercial claim issues.
• Provide regular reporting and analytics on claim status, trends, and KPIs to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support audits, documentation reviews, and system updates as required for claim records and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in warranty, service operations, claims management, or similar role (preferably in energy, industrial, or manufacturing sectors).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive process improvements.
• Knowledge of ERP or claim tracking systems is preferred (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with wind energy or renewable energy industry is a strong plus.

The salary range for this position is $91,400.00 - $121,800.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
