C5T is currently seeking a Wargaming Analyst to provide professional and functional expertise to USTRANSCOM Strategic Plans, Policy and Logistics Directorate (TCJ5/J4).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide expert support to administration, planning, execution, and conducting after action activities including reports and analysis for USTRANSCOM-led Wargames.
- Ensure USTRANSCOM and Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) equities are addressed in Joint/DOD, Combatant Command, and Service wargames.
- Leverage knowledge of joint doctrine, strategy development, and joint planning principles for wargame development.
- Understand organizational policies and processes, and their impact on operations.
- Facilitate wargame design and scenario development with associated objectives, purposes, and end-states.
- Prepare USTRANSCOM wargame participants to provide realistic inputs.
- Provide subject matter expertise for USTRANSCOM support of other wargames. Articulate concepts and capabilities for inclusion in wargames.
Qualifications:
- Top Secret Level Security Clearance with sensitive compartmented information is required. The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Master's Degree plus four (4) years' experience related to the field of work OR Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years related experience. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
- Wargaming experience desired. Experience in major exercise planning and execution will be considered in lieu of wargaming experience.
- Professional experience must be in logistics, distribution, transportation, supply chain management, strategy, joint capability development, governance, and/or DoD strategy and concept development.
- At least three (3) years of senior staff level experience (JS, Service Headquarter, Major Command (MAJCOM), Agency and or CCMD level).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint) is required.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- All C5T team members must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with our customers and team members. Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities are a must.
