The Manufacturing Specialist plays a crucial role in monitoring and controlling production kettles used to produce industrial grease. This position involves handling and managing chemical raw materials according to defined formulations and procedures, ensuring the quality and consistency of the finished products. Responsibilities. Manage raw materials from prestaging through the manufacturing process. Stage raw material chemicals, including pre-weighing, to support production orders. Strictly follow manufacturing processes and formulations to ensure product consistency. Measure and add raw materials in accordance with defined procedures. Operate proper startup and shutdown of manufacturing equipment. Flush and clean kettles and lines according to defined work instructions. Monitor process equipment to ensure proper control. Properly record inventory transactions. Perform in-process testing and understand results. Notify manager of any mechanical or material issues.
