Reviews Departmental Requisition Forms and fulfills requests for supplies by collecting the requested items or directing staff to collect the items from the warehouse and assembling the order for pick up or delivery. Provides direction and oversight for staff and/or trustees/inmates who perform routine work in the warehouse. Organizes warehouse so that supplies are readily accessible, easily identifiable, and stored safely. Verifies incoming supplies against packing lists and purchase orders to ensure requisitioned amounts of material are received. Reviews and inputs information provided on Departmental Requisition Forms, purchase orders, and invoices into the ECAPS inventory control system. Reviews Departmental Requisition Forms and, based on knowledge of past unit needs, inmate population, and available resources, determines the appropriate quantity of supplies to assemble and provide to the requesting unit.
