Job Summary

As Warehouse Worker you will transports materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods and/or scrap, to/from production floor for the 1st shift.

Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker. This contract position will be full-time and on-site in Fairview, North Carolina. The 1st shift is 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

What Youll Do

• Assesses material needs and develops forecasts for assigned production area at the beginning of the shift and orders materials to support the production schedule

• Transports materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods and/or scrap, to/from production floor

• Completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as intercompany bills- of-lading

• Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, scanning, labeling, wrapping

• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items

• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift or pallet jack

• Posts weights and shipping charges.

What You'll Need

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required to perform essential job functions including reading various signage throughout the facility, comprehensive understanding of various documentation, understanding and communicating processes to ensure workplace safety and job efficiency

Physical Demands

• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift or pallet jack

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time

• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching

• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) as needed

The pay range for this position is $17.61 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access.
