Warehouse Trainer - West Henrietta, NY - Avantor : Job Details

The Opportunity:Under limited supervision, perform warehouse operations such as loading/unloading trucks, stacking bags, handling product, palletizing, etc. Document all completed work and recording inventory data; utilizing scanners/computers as necessary. Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of warehouse operations and promote teamwork. Operate forklifts and hand carts. Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Mentor less-experienced peers and assist supervisors, but does not formally supervise others. 1st Shift. What were looking for:Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Experience: Minimum 3 years of warehousing experience, ideally in a cGMP manufacturing environment. Industrials powered equipment experience required. How you are: Working knowledge of PC applications (SAP, Excel, Word, Fed ex, UPS)Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
