The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the coordination, execution, and quality of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in a high-volume aviation logistics environment. This role combines operational oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring the team meets productivity targets, adheres to safety standards, and delivers on-time results in alignment with flight schedules.
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receipt, handling, storage, and dispatch of goods
Lead and manage warehouse staff to ensure effective team performance and productivity
Monitor inventory levels and assist in audits to maintain stock accuracy and prevent shortages
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods for efficient cargo movement
Resolve operational issues and bottlenecks to ensure uninterrupted warehouse activities
Implement process improvements and organizational systems to optimize warehouse efficiency
Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Workforce Coordination - Manage and reposition associates across zones to optimize workflow, maintain productivity, and adapt to changing operational needs.
Time & Task Management - Monitor timelines for all tasks, adjust workloads, and maintain awareness of operational deadlines to ensure timely completion of flights and assignments
Sense of Urgency - Lead by example with a fast-paced, efficient work ethic that drives team performance
Operational Support - Troubleshoot scanning issues, monitor compliance (filters, build standards, and safety), and provide support to Shift Leads as needed
Quality Control - Proactively inspect Unit Load Devices (ULDs) to identify and correct poor builds, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards
Punctuality & Flexibility - Arrive on time, maintain readiness, and be prepared to extend shifts when required to support late flights or operational changes
Safety Leadership - Enforce all safety policies, lead safety talks, and maintain a culture where safety is the top priority
Flight Management - Oversee one or multiple flights, ensuring accurate counts, awareness of aircraft types, and correct documentation of all transfers
Operational Monitoring - Track truck and scale logs in real time, identify discrepancies, and adjust labor or workflow as needed
Labor Strategy & TAC Time Management - Allocate resources effectively by understanding Target Actual Completion (TAC) times and proper labor distribution Pre-Flight Preparation - Ensure all supplies, equipment, and materials are ready before flight operations begin
Leadership & Delegation - Direct Team Captains and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of warehouse processes

QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States
Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Previous experience in warehouse supervisory roles
Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control
Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures
Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
Pass a background check and drug screen
Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Proven supervisory or leadership experience in warehouse or aviation logistics operations
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Proficiency in workflow management, labor allocation, and operational monitoring
Commitment to safety, quality control, and operational excellence
Able to perform well in sustained periods of high and low temperatures
Flexibility to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
