Qualifications

VNE is seeking a Secret Cleared Warehouse Specialist with the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of warehouse experience including inventory management, staging, packing, shipping, operating motor vehicles, and using inventory systems
  • Proficiency with inventory management software for tracking and reporting
  • Secret level security clearance

Additional qualifications include:

  • Licensed forklift operator with Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB) training
Job Description

The Warehouse Specialist performs warehousing duties such as verifying materials, reporting discrepancies, storing and organizing materials, and preparing items for shipment. Operation of hand or power trucks may be required. Responsibilities exclude shipping/receiving clerks, order fillers, or forklift operators.

Essential Duties
  • Communicate task requirements clearly to clients
  • Sit and stand for prolonged periods, participate in meetings
  • Use visual acuity for keyboard operation
  • Attend scheduled work hours
  • Work on computers and communicate via phone, email, face-to-face
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Potential exposure to chemicals and moderate noise levels
