We support regional trade organizations, source locally when appropriate and help to bring healthy food to people's tables.Shipping & Receiving ClerkDepartment: Warehouse Status: Non-ExemptEmployee Classification: Regular Full-timeReports To: Plant ManagerSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneJob Summary: Responsible for managing the flow of materials and finished products in and out of the facility. Essential Functions:

Maintain organization and sanitation of inventory locations

Monitor shipping and receiving schedule

Pick, stage, and load customer orders

Unload, label, and bin away raw material deliveries

Verify incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects

Verify incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy

Ensure proper temperature and handling of raw materials

Document physical movement of goods between inventory locations

Coordinate with quality assurance to maintain warehouse workflows

Communicate issues as they arise

Maintain inventory accuracy at multiple inventory locations, including quantity and lot information

Cycle counting

Other tasks as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in forklift operation

Proficient in PC skills; ERP/MRP and Microsoft Office Suite

Effective time management skills

Effective communications skills

Team oriented.

Working Conditions/Physical Factors:

Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.

Worker may be exposed to a loud working environment.

Worker may be exposed to hazards in the workplace such as proximity to equipment conducting extreme heat, moving parts, and electrical current

Must be able to work in an environment containing allergens (nuts, milk, wheat, etc.)

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

Occasionally required to use hands and fingers

Frequently required to talk or hear

Frequently required to taste and smell

Frequently required to lift/push/pull/carry weight up to 65 pounds

Exposure to moving mechanical parts

Exposure to fumes or airborne particles
