Warehouse/Shipping/Distribution Clerk - Washington, NC - Illinois Tool Works : Job Details

This position reports directly to Manufacturing and Materials Manager. In addition to forklift, this position requires driving box truck to transport product back and forth between warehouse and facility. Valid drivers license and clean driving record are required. Shipments ITW picks to be set up for shipment according to priority. Arrange shipments to achieve on-time delivery at best value. Ensure shipment quantities are correct and shipped according to customer requirements. Ensure shipping documentation and labeling is complete and correct. Send samples as requested by Customer Service. Receiving Back up for Receiving/ Incoming. Check for damage of incoming product. Ensure actual counts are consistent with packing list. Ensure ITW part number is located on outside packaging and add if necessary. Perform weight count checks on a percentage of incoming shipment. Move product to appropriate area.
