Warehouse Picker Packer - EmployBridge : Job Details

-Assist the Lead to leading the company outbound process in accordance with SOPs.

-Manage relationships with the market driver pool.

-Coach and mentor driver partners to enable achievement of on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost per box metrics. Assist in new driver on-boarding to maximize driver engagement and retention.

-Ensure routes are released to the driver pool in accordance with market routing guidelines. Assist in confirming driver assignments and ETAs in advance of route pickup.

-Utilize the company Outbound Application to ensure that drivers load routes correctly and efficiently. Prevent, and if necessary, correct errors in loading to maximize the number of successful deliveries and minimize returns/failures.

-Lead the team of associates in performing the outbound process, including driver check-in, route staging, assisting with loading, and resolving any issues that prevent drivers from departing with appropriate routes.

-Ensure associates are fully engaged in the outbound process and manage clock-ins, clock-outs, and breaks in accordance with HR and legal guidelines.

-Support the Sortation Lead in organizing, receiving, and re-routing returned/failed packages to minimize delivery failures.

-Assist in warehouse housekeeping: supply room organization, trash disposal, restroom maintenance, etc. as required.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

• Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items
• Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight
• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
