Warehouse, Pallet Wrapper - Omaha, NE - Performance Food Group Company : Job Details

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our companys success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. The Pallet Wrapper prepares pallets of out-going freight for shipping by maneuvering and utilizing the robotic wrapping machine and transports pallets with an electric pallet jack. The position functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Position Responsibilities:Reviews work schedule, obtains supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Performs safety check on pallet jack / forklift to be used and ensure that all other safety devices are functioning properly. Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately. Wraps pallets with cellophane, secure load/pallets and make sure shipping labels are in place as needed.
