Swing Shift 3pm to 2am 16.50/hr

Como Empleado de Producción General, desempeñarás un papel crucial en la carga y descarga de paquetes de hielo desde una máquina, asegurando una producción y distribución eficientes.

Responsabilidades

• Cargar y descargar paquetes de hielo de la maquinaria.

• Colocar los paquetes de hielo individualmente en estantes, cajas o tarimas.

• Permanecer de pie durante 10 horas en turnos de lunes a jueves, con posibilidad de trabajar los viernes según sea necesario.

• Trabajar de manera colaborativa en un entorno de equipo.

Habilidades Esenciales

• Capacidad para estar de pie durante 10 horas al día y estar cómodo con horas extras.

• Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 libras (aprox. 23 kg).

• Habilidades básicas de matemáticas para contar.

• Capacidad para usar una pistola de cinta adhesiva.

Habilidades Adicionales y Calificaciones

• Se valora experiencia en producción/fabricación.

• Experiencia en selección de pedidos, gestión de inventario y operación de montacargas.

• Experiencia en trabajo en equipo en cualquier industria.

Ambiente de Trabajo

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at our Reno location, specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of freezer ice packs for the West Coast. As a General Production Employee, you will play a crucial role in loading and unloading ice packs off a machine, ensuring efficient production and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload ice packs from machinery.

• Place ice packs individually on racks, in boxes, or on pallets.

• Stand for 10 hours during shifts from Monday to Thursday, with potential Friday work as needed.

• Work collaboratively within a team environment.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand for 10 hours a day and be comfortable with overtime.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Basic math skills for counting.

• Ability to use a tape gun.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Production/Manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Experience in order picking, inventory management, and forklift operation.

• Teamwork experience in any industry.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse alongside a growing team, currently consisting of 15 people with plans to expand to 30 to 40 members over the next six months. Employees are required to provide their own steel toe shoes, while gloves will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr.
