Has the training and ability to care for adult, geriatric, adolescents, children and on a limited basis, infants. Possesses the ability to remain flexible to provide coverage between outpatient, inpatient and aquatic care based on clinical needPerforms evaluations and develops effective patient treatment plans to restore, maintain or prevent decline of patient function, by planning and administering medical prescribed therapy treatment in accordance with federal, state and professional standards governing the treatment location.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSo Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy or higher, or a bachelor's degree and a certificate in physical therapy from an accredited educational programoCurrent license or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of West Virginia.oThey will maintain their licensure by participating in quality Continuing Education courses, according to license renewal requirements and performing in-services to all the PT staff.oKnowledge of professional physical therapy theory and practice.
