Job Summary: As a crucial part of our foodservice supply chain, you will work in a Sysco warehouse, picking and preparing orders for local foodservice venues.

• Engage in an active role requiring the use of an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.

• Organize and palletize products to fulfill customer orders.

• Perform additional duties as needed.

Experience a safe working environment, with exposure to varying temperatures and humidity based on local weather and the type of products being handled (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• No previous experience necessary; 0 - 1 year relevant work experience preferred.

• Ability to frequently lift products weighing between 10 - 75 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.

• Must be able to reach up to 72 inches.

• Required to constantly bend, twist, and perform physical tasks while operating equipment.

• Willingness to work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).

• Ability to remain on your feet for 10 - 12 hours daily.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift is a plus.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, military, or physically demanding job is advantageous.

• Selection experience (1 year) preferred.

• Consistent work history of at least 2 years is a bonus.
