Warehouse Order Picker - Performance Foodservice : Job Details

Job Description:

• $20.00 per hour training rate.
• $24.00 per hour average after training based on performance.
• Sunday to Thursday nights 6:00 p.m. until finished.

Join our team to select food and non-food products from our multi-level warehouse storage to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for transporting items, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining quality during the product handling process.

• Adhere to safety policies and company guidelines, reporting any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Prepare for operations by reviewing the work schedule and obtaining required supplies.
• Achieve productivity and accuracy goals set by the company.
• Operate electric pallet jacks/forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Manually pick up items from racks and ensure safe transportation to the shipping dock.
• Wrap and label completed orders for shipment.
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
• Complete other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Able to work scheduled shifts and complete required overtime.
• Physically capable of lifting, walking, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Comfortable lifting items between 10-90 pounds from various heights.
• Adaptable to working in varying temperature settings including cooler and freezer environments.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
