HF Foods aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine, leveraging its nationwide network of distribution centers and its strong relations with growers and suppliers of fresh, high-quality specialty restaurant food products and supplies in the US, South America, and China.Primary FunctionsThe Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse and ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus.Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts
• Hires and trains new warehouse employees
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
• Completes all required management reports
• Executes maintenance activities when needed
• Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner
• Communicate warehouse concerns and safety issues to the general manager
• Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable federal, state, local, and company safety rules, regulations, and procedures
• Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
• Other duties as assigned by management

Skills And Qualifications

• Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse
• Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus
• Drug Screening will be REQUIRED

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.

Education And/Or Training

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of warehouse experience
• 3+ years of experience working with cooler/freezer storage

• Office and warehouse environment
• Occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time

• Frequent communication with people throughout the day
