Position Overview:

The Warehouse Manager oversees all day-to-day operations of the warehouse toensure efficient, safe, and organized storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Thisrole is responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, maintaininginventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations:Plan, organize, and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Ensureinventory is handled efficiently and accurately.
  • Staff Management:Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse employees. Schedule shifts anddelegate tasks to ensure productivity.
  • Inventory Control:Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, andreconciliations. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement.
  • Safety & Compliance:Enforce warehouse safety protocols, conduct safety training, and ensure OSHAcompliance. Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
  • Shipping & Receiving:Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurateprocessing. Coordinate with logistics providers and transportation partners.
  • Equipment & Maintenance:Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, palletjacks, etc.) and schedule necessary repairs or inspections.
  • Process Improvement:Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in storage layout, inventoryhandling, and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate or Bachelor's degree inLogistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory ormanagerial role.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory controlsoftware.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures.
  • Forklift certification and OSHA training preferred.
