Overview:
The Site Manager is responsible for effective management, administration, and control of business functions at identified client site(s). This person oversees the timely and effective resolution of all services contracted by the client while exhibiting exceptional customer service, overall operational efficiency and quality of business services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the computerized inventory program in Oracle, asset tags in Service Now and reporting functions
- Continuous Process Improvement, Training, Guiding and Mentoring related duties
- Assign, monitor & evaluate workflow of the department, including communicating work assignments
- Develops optimal works schedules to ensure the needs of the customer are met
- Maintain inventory control of all locations and material received at the Locations Warehouse
- Review all incoming manifests and shipping documents and check against material received
- Prepare manifests for departing shipments. Review and sign off on all outgoing manifests and equipment departing
- Monitor & oversee the time-sensitive and accurate sequencing, picking, shipping & or receiving of all merchandise & materials, including ensuring the quality of all inbound & outbound products which includes OS&D management thru resolution
- Responsible for development/monitoring of KPI's & implementing continuous improvement opportunities
- Create & implement cost savings though LEAN processes and Kaizen events
- Train new hires & existing employees on all warehouse functions, including the enforcement of safety procedures in accordance with company policies & procedures
- Works within budgetary/financial objectives set by manager
- Conduct meetings with staff to assess group's overall status; discuss ideas for improvement and inform staff of new developments
- Maintain a flexible work schedule including outside normal business hours and after hours on call rotation
- Communicates with manager, customer and suppliers concerning load & material issues & status, serving as liaison to communicate load, plant, routing issues or concerns between employees at facility & customer & or supplier
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Receives items within CBPS's receiving procedures and shipping procedures
- Performs 100% material receiving accuracy check
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
- Wear the proper safety equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
- Other assigned duties as requested
- Responsible for Distribution/Logistics/Material Handling Department
- Maintains day-to-day communications with Sr. Client contact and Area Manager
- Keeps management informed of all operational issues
- Works with management to evaluate research and recommend solutions to Distribution management
- Provides quality control on daily paperwork performed by OBS Staff
- Delegates assignments to staff and monitors progress
- Prioritize, schedule and delegates assignments to staff and monitors progress
- Ensure quality and productivity standards are being met by staff
- Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and supplies
- Interface with the client, operations team, and corporate departments as necessary
- Initiate communication and problem solving with regard to customer concerns
- Assist Manager with administration of HR policies and procedures including performance. evaluations, employee training, development and motivation
- Assists in recruiting new employees
- Compiles weekly and monthly statistical data to be used by Manager for reporting
- Manage budget and control expenses effectively
- Assists with staff payroll, site billing, and service enhancements
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Knowledge of Mailroom operations (Digital mail/ scanning preferred)
- Driver's Licenses - Required
- Fork Lift operator certificate - Preferred
- Software knowledge of Oracle- Preferred
- Software knowledge of Service Now - Preferred
- BS Diploma required. Degrees are in Supply Chain, Business Management, Accounting and Finance or other business disciplines preferred
- Strong background in problem solving in a dynamic team environment
- Requires knowledge of materials distribution and/or logistics processes, methods, and skills related to inventory management.
- Previous experience managing multiple locations 4+ direct reports with a staff of more than 10 non-exempt employees
- Must have experience motivating, training, coaching and supervising a staff to meet quality and productivity standards
- 5 years of Management experience in a Warehouse/Distribution center
- 3 years' experience managing delivery vehicles and foot messengers
- Ability to use word processing and spreadsheets applications (Microsoft Office Programs)
- Prior experience using Oracle and Service Now
- Must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - position requires good time management skills
- Advanced customer service skills, professional attitude & appearance
- Strong organizational, administrative, record keeping & time management skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
