Job Description :
Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for managing inventory, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. You will also handle the unloading and storage of materials, assist with order packing, and perform delivery duties when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Lift and move inventory around the warehouse as required.
  • Operate warehouse equipment according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse environment.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and follow all safety procedures.
  • Unload delivery vehicles, identify materials, break them down, and note discrepancies per SAP processes.
  • Store products accurately in the designated locations as per SAP processes.
  • Select and pack customer orders, ensuring they meet customer standards and expectations.
  • Perform delivery duties using a light van or delivery vehicle to meet customer expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in warehouse operations and order picking.
  • Experience with pallet jacks, shipping, material handling, and inventory management.
  • Ability to read electrical codes for SKUs and picking once trained.
  • Competency in reading paper pick sheets.
  • Capability to cut wiring to specified lengths.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic understanding of electrical parts used in panel boxes for order packaging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP processes for inventory management is a plus.
  • Prior delivery driving experience is beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
