Be a Great Teammate Be Accountable Have a Plan Solve Problems Have a Winning Attitude Put Yourself in the Customer's Shoes Develop Yourself Have Fun Lead People - Manage Processes JOB SCOPE SUMMARY - Warehouse/Driver Associate provides assistance to both internal and external customers by performing warehouse responsibilities and supporting the team as a backup driver. WORK SCHEDULE - Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week between the business hours of 7am - 4pm. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Deliver orders to customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Receive in daily rush orders and weekly orders.
- Check stage on orders.
- Put away stock in warehouse and pull will-call orders for customer pick up.
- Maintain bin locations.
- Process ship-outs that need to go from Santa Rosa branch.
- Process all Bend warranty and returns and verify that paperwork has been neatly and properly filled out.
- Prepare warranty and returns for ship out to Tigard branch and/or vendor direct.
- Order and return compressed gas tanks as needed.
- Clean and straighten the warehouse daily.
- Works well as a team player.
- Follows all Company Policies/Store Standards.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Assist with counter/phone sales and calling customers to inform them of any backorders that are ready for pick up on an as-needed basis.
- Recycle cardboard and empty branch garbage twice a week.
- Fill freight claims when necessary. Assist with stocking showroom. Attend ongoing training classes.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
- Must possess and maintain a current valid driver's license.
- Delivery driving experience preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Past experience would include shipping/receiving, and material handling.
- HVAC/R experience along with customer service and/or sales preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred
