Position Details:

Location: Rochester, NY

Duration: This is a one year contract with the opportunity to convert to permanent.

Hours : 8am-4:30pm - Mon-Fri (occasional overtime may be required)

Pay Range: $19.00/hr, depending on experience.

Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, and shipping systems or material; verifying and recording outgoing systems or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

What to Expect as an Warehouse Attendant:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products

• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage, and manufacturing areas

• Identify and label materials, and record their locations on warehouse shelves to maintain inventory

• Maintain inventory records within MRP system

• Prepare products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them

• Operate trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move freight

• Perform and report cycle counts

• Comply with all warehouse

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Success:

Required Skills & Education:

• Minimum of HS Diploma or GED or 2+ years applicable experience (manufacturing, warehouse).

• Ability to lift boxes 10-40lbs consistently

• Experience with a Stand-up fork truck

• Warehouse/inventory experience

Desired Skills:

• Use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

• Inventory Management systems (specifically SAP)

• Certifications & Licenses: Forklift preferred.
