Warehouse Associate - Kent, WA - Opti Staffing : Job Details

The Shipping & Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking and verifying parts for outgoing shipments, following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices. The position involves processing shipments through freight carriers like FedEx, UPS, DHL, and others, labeling packages, and ensuring all outgoing shipments meet ATA 300 specifications. The associate coordinates freight pickups, including with Boeing Transportation for spare parts, and tracks deliveries to ensure timely arrival. They also handle incorrect shipments in coordination with customer service. Additional responsibilities include reading technical drawings to confirm part accuracy, moving stock using forklifts or hand trucks, maintaining proper inventory organization, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety compliance. Import/export records are filed accurately, and all stock is stored efficiently to support smooth warehouse operations.
