Warehouse Associate - US Foods : Job Details

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
• Scan products to capture necessary data.
• Sort, organize, repack, palletize, weigh, and break down various products to assist production.
• Ship and receive products using assigned material handling equipment.
• Perform facility sanitation duties as required.
• Complete various other tasks as assigned by management.

RELATIONSHIPS: Interact professionally with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels throughout the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35°F - 45°F) and occasionally in a freezer environment (-10°F to +10°F).
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• A minimum of 6 months warehouse experience is preferred, ideally in a food environment.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ability to lift 10-100 lbs frequently.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Expect a cool, wet, and refrigerated setting with temperatures ranging from 35°F to 45°F in coolers, -10°F to +10°F in freezers, and potentially up to 95°F in other warehouse areas.
