Job Description Job title: Warehouse Associate (Immediate need) Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Pay Range: $24.00- $25.50 per hour Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity with our client in Irvine, CA! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily activities related to receipt of materials, both raw materials and supplies required to meet inventory demands and will perform outbound activities ensuring timely execution for the shipment of product to our customers. Warehouse Associate Job duties include:
- Process incoming receipt of materials and non-production items.
- Maintain incoming receiving logs and/or records according to GMP/ISO/AMP standards.
- Perform general warehouse activities: stock put-a-ways, housekeeping.
- Process returned goods.
- Perform cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory.
- Pull requested materials as necessary for departments and stakeholders.
- Process outbound shipments according to AMP and customer standards.
- Schedule transportation requirements for products leaving the facility.
- Maintain shipping records and/or system transactions.
- Process material requisitions timely and accurately.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy within the warehouse area.
- Any and all assignments as requested by management.
- Abide by all company rules including safety and follow all procedures.
Warehouse Associate Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience helpful
- Experience with cGMP helpful
- SAP experience or related ERP desired
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely and use all material moving equipment in a safe manner
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills/unit of measure conversion required
- Ability to work overtime as necessary a plus
- Forklift operation trained/certified a plus
- Computer literate
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to interact with numerous departments
- Ability to work under minimal supervision to carry out tasks
