Warehouse Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. This role involves operating material handling equipment, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring accurate inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, and move materials within the warehouse.
  • Log inbound freight shipments (UPS, FedEx, Airborne, DHL) accurately.
  • Inspect equipment before use and ensure it is in safe operating condition; report any accidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Stock and arrange products to optimize warehouse inventory turnover.
  • Perform cycle counts to determine accurate material quantities.
  • Receive materials into inventory, move quantities between designated locations, and pick materials from warehouse locations as required.
  • Ensure accurate data entry of part numbers, quantities, and other key information affecting electronic inventory records; resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Safely locate parts, ensuring pallet stability, appropriate pallet heights, and that materials and equipment are undamaged and aisles remain clear.
  • Follow safe material handling techniques at all times.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • This position is designated as Safety Sensitive by the company.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with work schedule.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
