Job Description :

The purpose of this position is to assist internal and external customers in the purchasing, shipping or receiving of parts or other items from the company and to provide manual or administrative support to Warehouse operations and personnel.+ Verify materials or merchandise against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations+ Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials+ Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage+ Remove (pull) material from storage and prepare it for shipment+ May operate hand or power trucks to perform duties+ May perform mail processing and courier services to include the retrieval and delivery of mail+ Perform office moving services to include the packing, loading, transportation, and unloading of general office equipment and furniture+ Keep work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition+ Other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Supervision Exercised: Minimal; may be allowed to train or advise other specialist and warehouse personnel.Typical and Preferred Requirements:*** Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph ***+ Able to multi-task+ Excellent customer service skills+ Physically able to squat, stoop, bend, climb, lie on back, lift and pull, reach up and out, lift and carry 50 pounds, and use a 10lb sledge hammer+ Basic knowledge of parts, inventory, and warehouse practices+ Ability to analyze and improve work processes+ May require ability to obtain an internal forklift license+ Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors+ Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerPosition may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. Typical Education & Experience: High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience equal to one (1) year. One (1) year of experience in construction industry preferred. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheet, and electronic presentation programs.
