Floorz Core Values: Driven | Knowledgeable | Accomplished | Team-focused About the role: As a Warehouse Associate at our Floorz studio in Colorado Springs, you will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by receiving and inspecting deliveries, organizing inventory, and staging materials for our installation teams. You will collaborate with project managers, vendors, and installers to ensure the right products get to the right place at the right time. - Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately enter received materials into our inventory system and maintain organized bin and slot locations.
- Pick, stage, and organize materials based on pick tickets to ensure timely and complete installer pickups.
- Load and unload company vehicles for local deliveries and occasional vendor pickups, following all driving and safety protocols.
- Drive company box trucks to job sites for material deliveries and pickups as needed (approximately 10-20% of the time).
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely; forklift training and certification provided if needed.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support inventory reconciliations to ensure data accuracy for purchasing and project teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and installers to coordinate material availability, delivery schedules, and jobsite needs.
- Prepare products for delivery or pickup by assembling, packaging, and staging items efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse by following safety protocols and promptly reporting hazards or incidents.
- Support overall warehouse operations with flexibility and a team-first mindset, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
Requirements Who you are:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is preferred.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset to support installers and coordinate with vendors.
- You are highly organized with exceptional attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking, bin labeling, and data entry.
- You have basic computer skills to support inventory management and order processing, with a willingness to learn new software systems.
- You manage your time well and prioritize effectively, thriving in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
- You are dependable and punctual, demonstrating consistent attendance and commitment to scheduled hours.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- You are comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, staging materials, unloading deliveries, and occasional site work.
- You have forklift operation experience or are willing to obtain certification through company training if needed.
- You hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for occasional company vehicle use.
- You demonstrate initiative, adaptability, a positive attitude, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment: This full-time role is based in Colorado Springs, CO and requires in-office presence Monday-Friday at our warehouse. Typical hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional early start times as early as 6:00 am to accommodate incoming and outgoing shipments. Physical Requirements: This role involves regular physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more. You'll spend much of your day standing and walking as part of warehouse operations, and you'll need the flexibility to bend, stoop, crouch, or kneel to handle items stored on lower shelves or in tight spaces.
