Warehouse Associate

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our merchandise is ready for our customers. This position involves receiving and unpacking goods, maintaining stock room organization, and ensuring our store environment is clean and welcoming.

Essential Functions

Customer Experience

• First Impressions: Uphold a positive first impression by adhering to our dress code.
• Store Standards: Help provide a clean and organized shopping environment by maintaining our store and stock room standards.

Inventory Control

• Shipment Management: Alert management of any discrepancies in shipments or missed markdowns.
• Merchandise Handling: Manage merchandise by sensoring, steaming, folding, and hanging items as needed.
• Stock Organization: Bring new products to the sales floor and restock items as required.
• Operations: Handle transfers, returns to vendor, manage damaged goods, and assist with customer charge sends.
• Stock Room Maintenance: Keep the stock room organized, tidy, and ensure all merchandise is ready for the floor.

• Task Completion: Efficiently complete all assigned duties.
• Punctuality: Arrive on time and stick to your scheduled shifts.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members and management.
• Policy Adherence: Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
• Housekeeping: Participate actively in maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Meetings and Functions: Attend and contribute to all store meetings and events.
• Positive Attitude: Foster a positive atmosphere regarding merchandise and our company.
• Inventory Participation: Take part in all inventory processes.
• Additional Duties: Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy items (over 30 pounds) and stand for at least eight hours during your shift.

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail or stockroom preferred.
• Team Player: Ability to work enthusiastically in a team-oriented setting.
• Flexible Schedule: Available for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of frequent walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and balancing.

Salary: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
