Warehouse Coordinator
Coordinate warehouse-related tasks and flow in a Stord facility
Direct areas of oversight:
- Shipment receiving
- Inbound and outbound shipment scheduling
- Shipment unloading and loading
- Pallet In & Out and Cross Docks
- Organization of inbound and outbound pending areas/lanes
- Pallet organization, movement and labeling
Duties & Responsibilities:
- All shipments being received into facility are thoroughly checked for damage and pallet quantity
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure flow and throughput is optimized
- Identify procedural waste and reduce or eliminate
- Light building maintenance
- Ensure that all special client requests and projects have appropriate charges (Be able to speak to the description and amount of these charges)
- Communicate with clients and carriers on inbound and outbound shipments
- Be the example at facility for Stord's high level of service
- Understand Vendor Compliance and how that affects the process for outbound/inbound shipments for specific consignee's.

Required qualifications:
- Organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word and web browsing)
- Creativity and problem solving
- Ability to communicate to and listen effectively with coworkers, administration, clients and drivers
- Good communication and presentation skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Highly detail oriented
- Good understanding of metrics and reporting
- Customer service and client management
- Hands-on experience in order release, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control
- Typing over 50 words per minute
