We are seeking a meticulous and responsible Property Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of artwork, furniture, and one-of-a-kind objects. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive and thoughtful approach to working with items that can be fragile, complex in shape and size, and diverse in materiality. RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and team to efficiently utilize equipment and inventory systems for the movement of property throughout the warehouse and to other locations. Ensure property locations are updated and accurate in the inventory system Assist with property pick-ups and receipts, specifically loading and unloading packed property, pallets, and crates. Assist in opening and repacking property for intake and fulfillment workflows, including receiving, inspection, cataloging, photography, and shipping. Assist in the changeover of events and other warehouse spaces, including the preparation and organization of movable walls, pedestals, platforms, mannequins, and other display materials. Install exhibition and property highlights both on-site and at off-site locations as needed. Ability to safely operate heavy machinery, warehouse equipment, and tools. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all on-site warehouse and event spaces. REQUIREMENTS Good communication, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset required. Experience with best practices in handling art and other unique property, collections, and crating. Ability to reliably work daily on-site with some overtime on evenings and weekends possible.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with regularly changing project needs and parameters.Capable of lifting, bending, walking, and standing for long periods. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.OSHA Forklift Certification is a plus.Production, exhibitions, or preparations experience is a plus.
