Warehouse Associate - Performance Foodservice : Job Details

Job Description:

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate and enjoy competitive pay ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, plus incentives! This role requires evening availability, working Sunday through Thursday starting at 5pm or 6pm until finished.

Position Summary: In this role, you will select food and non-food product cases and containers to fulfill customer orders from a multi-level rack warehouse storage system. You will place items on pallets and move completed orders to the loading dock staging area using an electric pallet jack or forklift. Your commitment to safety regulations and quality standards will ensure efficient product flow in our operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Ensure a clean and safe work area by reporting any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Review your work schedule, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations, performing a thorough check on all safety equipment.
• Meet established productivity and accuracy standards to contribute to a smooth operational flow.
• Efficiently operate the pallet jack among multi-level racks to locate and gather products.
• Manually load stock items on pallets as required, utilizing both single and double pallets where necessary.
• Transport completed pallets to the shipping dock staging area and wrap pallets for shipping as needed.
• Perform end-of-shift tasks, including securing equipment and maintaining necessary paperwork.
• Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Must be available to work assigned schedules and required overtime.
• Capable of standing, walking, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and pull products weighing between 10-35 pounds regularly, with occasional lifts up to 60-90 pounds.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including coolers, freezers, and dry storage.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
