Primary Responsibilities: Receive and stock products from manufacturers, wholesalers and third-party logistics companies leasing space and distribution from Winnesota Regional Transportation. Position products within the food safety warehouse, operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Equipment that may be utilized includes power lift equipment, manual pallet jacks, and reach truck units. Ensure an accurate quantity of products is received by comparing appropriate BOL or documentation and matching product numbers. Food safety compliance enforcement, understanding of food safety responsibility, HACCP and CCP adherence and accountability to include but not limited to Food Safety, Food safety defense & facility security, pest control, personal hygiene, food allergen control, food temperature control procedures, food facility housekeeping, and all aspects of food facility storage & distribution compliance requirements. Perform sortation to include scanning, unload, load and return/recall/recoup processing. Ability to question and resolve discrepancies as required. Identify product overages/shortages/damages/non-conforming products upon receipt, storage and loading of products. Stock products in the proper location. Product location information is submitted to receiving as available inventory or as shipped and removed from inventory. WMS entry and location assignments adjusted as needed. Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties including all equipment use. Perform sortation tasks with core customer sortation and distribution as needed. Perform tasks as directed to include facility housekeeping and maintenance as needed. Perform pick and pack methods in freezer/refrigerated temperature conditions. Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) year experience as a warehouse laborer or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as power lift equipment, manual pallet jack and reach truck units. Detail-oriented DOT qualifiable Must be dependable and demonstrate the ability to follow directions. Ability to become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment, powered or manual. Ability to make independent decisions within defined guidelines. Must be a team player. Good communication skills, both orally and in writing Demonstrated basic math, reading, and writing skills. Ability to operate warehouse scanning equipment and WMS software as needed. Successful completion of a criminal background check. Available to work outside normal business hours and may be required to be available evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs. Preferred: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Limited computer data entry skills, understanding of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and WMS software. Experience in food safety facility storage and distribution regulations, methods, and requirements.
