Warehouse Associate - Gardena, CA - IPS Corporation : Job Details

Fulfill customer orders by gathering finished goods Review order details and fulfill customer shipment requests that could include specific pallet sizing, dimensions, custom fastening materials, etc. Identify and assemble packaging materials (wooden/cardboard containers, shrink-wrap) to prepare the order for shipment. Identify and create all necessary shipping labels, including hazardous placards. Scan all finished goods into E 1 system prior to shipment. Prepare orders for internal shipments to other company locations (CA, TN) across the US. Safely load finished goods onto trailer using appropriate equipment. Transport pallets across warehouse using appropriate equipment while following the cycle inventory process of 1st in / 1st out. Perform daily cycle counts (2 x/day) to validate physical inventory against inventory reflected in system (E 1). Conduct 5 S daily to ensure that work and the surrounding area is well organized, clean, and safe.
