Warehouse Associate

Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Atlanta Distribution Center.

Location: 5350 Hunter Road, Atlanta, GA 30349

Must be at least 18 years of age

Relocation assistance is not offered for this position

Candidates must be able to read, write and conduct business in English

Ability to work overtime when required

What You Will Do:

  • Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
  • Willingness to be trained on and operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists, as well as all other tasks in the operation.
  • Report defects and need for repairs.
  • Utilize pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers
  • Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative
  • Perform housekeeping functions as required
  • Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time
  • Reliability is important, be on time and maintain a good attendance record to safely and efficiently meet the needs of the customer

  • Agility: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds individually, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend over repetitively, throughout your shift with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Base wage is $18.50/hour (paid weekly)
  • Night shift premium of $1.50/hour for 2nd and 3rd shift.
  • 11% hourly premium for Alternative Work Schedule shifts (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B)
  • Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half (some may be mandatory).

What to Expect After Applying:

Available Shifts:

First Shift: 5:00am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday

Second Shift: 1:00pm-9:30pm, Monday-Friday

Third Shift: 9:00pm-5:30am, Sunday-Thursday

3 Day Schedules:

1A: Monday-Wednesday 3:00am-3:30pm

1B: Thursday-Saturday 3:00am-3:30pm

2A: Sunday-Tuesday 3:00pm-3:30am

2B: Wednesday-Friday 3:00pm-3:30am

Summary Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.10
