**THE POSITION**

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team! Our Warehouse Associate Leads work under the direction of our Warehouse Management Team to maintain the efficient operation of our Warehouse.

Important attributes for this position include being reliable, able to multi-task, and having a keen eye. Our Warehouse Team is a key part to our organization, and we're looking for someone with a positive attitude that's eager to learn. **This position will work 5 days a week, flexibility to work Saturdays is a must.**

This positions key responsibilities include:

* Receives and empties gaylords of donated goods.

* Sorts donated goods on to pallets and into gaylords pursuant to the sorting and processing guidelines.

* Identifies goods for merchandise in retail stores and for special sales.

* Maintains production tallies.

* Conducts periodic testing of some donated computer equipment and peripherals as needed and as directed.

* Processes and removes unsold items as appropriate.

* Loads and unload trucks, including use of forklift and pallet jack.

* Maintains supplies inventory.

* Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

* Performs other duties as assigned

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**

* Prior material handling experience preferred.

* Ability to read and write.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

* Excellent interpersonal skills.

* Ability to make decisions regarding quality of items.

* Reliable and consistently comes to work as scheduled.

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* A passion for serving others and making a difference in our community.

**THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

* Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.

* Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to fifty (50) pounds with no support regularly.

* Able to stand and work for eight (8) hours at a time.

* Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion; i.e., tagging or hanging clothes. Manual dexterity is required.
