Summary: Reporting to the Operations Manager/Site Leader II, the Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of tasks including picking and packing products for shipment in accordance with customer order specifications, cleaning reusable shipping and storage containers using industrial washers, completing rework tasks as assigned, and performing other duties as required by supervisors in the warehouse. The role requires attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and safety. Supervisory Responsibility: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Job Functions:Warehouse Tasks (100%)
- Identify products for shipment by reviewing customer orders (pick tickets).
- Locate items to be shipped using radio frequency (RFID) scanners.
- Pull, sort, and stage items from warehouse inventory in preparation for shipment in a timely manner.
- Pack items in boxes/envelopes, using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during shipment.
- Inspect product condition prior to packaging to ensure quality and report any deficiencies to the manager.
- Complete rework tasks as assigned by a superior.
- Operate industrial pallet washing machines to remove label adhesive, dirt, and grease from product shipment pallets and trays, including setting dunnage cradling bars and feeding containers into the machine.
- Verify that washed containers meet cleaning standards.
- Apply lids and bands to containers upon exiting the washing machine in preparation for temporary storage.
- Palletize and shrink wrap clean storage containers in preparation for shipment.
- Transport dunnage to appropriate holding locations in the warehouse using pallet jacks.
- Dispose of broken or unsound containers in an appropriate manner.
- Complete daily disposal logs to account for discarded containers.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency of work practices and provide suggestions to management.

- Radiofrequency scanners, packing tape dispenser, pallet jack, industrial pallet washing machine, and other warehouse tools and equipment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
