8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings' private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. ( THL ), a private equity firm.
Responsibilities:
Wage: $18+ depending on experience.
2nd shift differential is $1.00/hr.
3rd shift differential is $1.50/hr.
Position Summary:
Our 8th Avenue Warehouse Associates play a valuable role in the movement of raw materials and finished goods within and between facility locations and customer trucks. This team uses established policies, procedures, and standards in the areas of people safety, food safety, allergen control, FIFO, cycle counting, and GMPs to safely and accurately move inventory and monitor inventory levels for our organization. Keeping safety front-of-mind, it is also our Warehouse Associates responsibility to inspect and audit work areas and powered industrial trucks, and to submit corrective actions and follow up needs in a timely fashion.
Duties and Responsibilities:High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Previous food manufacturing experience
Previous experience with powered industrial trucks (PIT)
Previous experience with warehouse management systems (scanners, etc.)
Previous experience with ERP system (JDE strongly preferred)
